Hello From New York City

Hi Guys, new member here from New York. I've been eyeing and thinking about real estate investing for about two years, reading as much as possible about the business. I have a friend/mentor who has been wholesaling, running section 8 rentals and flipping houses in South Florida for a few years.

I'm looking to do something similar in the Northeast. I have some basic questions about how one gets started in a market like this, where the barriers to entry are much higher (there are no $25k single families here!). But let me do some additional reading and will post that question in more detail in another forum.

In the meantime.... hi!

Andrew
