Hey BP community! My name is Tony and I am new real estate investor in Western MA and Northern CT. I came across the BiggerPockets podcast, which really peaked my interest in learning more about the investing side of real estate. I am a licensed real estate agent in MA, which I have been doing part-time in addition to working my full time job.
Currently, I own two rental properties and my personal residence, with a total of 6 rented doors. My long term goal is to get into large multifamily investments, but I don't have the capital, knowledge, or network yet to pull off such a large purchase. So for now, I am looking to build my portfolio and gain experience through single family and small multi-family BRRRR investing.
I look forward to making connections in this community, and welcome any advice you might have to offer.

Hey @Filipe Pereira, nice to connect with someone in the same market. What niche do you invest in? Do you only invest in those markets, or do you do any long distance investing? I feel like it is hard to find good deals in this area, so I am thinking about starting to shop elsewhere.
Before I knew anything about real estate, I bought a 4br house and ended up house hacking by putting friends and co-workers up in the other bedrooms. This covered my mortgage and allowed me to payoff my student loans and start saving for our next property. The 5 unit building was purchased from a family member, who was sick of managing the property. One of the units was vacant and just being used as storage, so I cleared it out upon buying it and renovated it to attract new tenants. That property has been fully occupied since then and has great cashflow.
