Newbie in Northwest Arkansas

Hi y’all! I am thrilled to start my professional career in real estate here in Northwest Arkansas. I am originally from Northern California and moved out here at the end of January.

I decided to quit my old life in CA and jump all in on real estate. I recently got my real estate sales license and am excited to start closing deals here shortly (COVID is crampin my style right now..).

I have no formal real estate training (up until licensure) other than renting out a condo to my brother and a room in my house to a buddy I worked with. Both of those experiences were informal to say the least.

My real estate goals are to be a leading agent in my area by sales volume and starting a multi-million dollar interstate rental real estate company (buy and hold primarily). In the short term, I want to close 25 contracts by the end of the year and own a duplex, or similar property, by summer.

I am excited from hearing and learning from you guys and helping out where I can!

@Stephen Brown congrats and welcome! This is very rewarding and hard. My advice, you have two jobs. 1. Be the best agent/investor that you can be 2. Generate as many leads as you possible can. One leads to repeat and retaining business. Two, leads to just business without Any quality, however the most important is 2. If you don’t have leads you don’t have a business. If you are the best agent/investor out there but nobody knows who you are, then your serving no one.
