New to forum and prospective real estate investor. Diving in!

Hello everyone! My name is Kyle and I am a full time physician assistant and prospective real estate investor interested in house hacking or BRRRR to start. I am presently based in New Jersey but since I have an insatiable appetite for the outdoors I will be relocating to either Colorado, Oregon, or Washington next year. Right now I am primarily focused on self education (books, podcasts, BP forum) and saving capital to be able to invest in a property by the middle to end of 2021. Any tips, advice, wisdom, etc. as I start this journey would be warmly accepted. It's a pleasure to join this forum and I look forward to connecting with you!
