Hi everyone,

After a few weeks of podcasts & reading, I'm making my way here to the forums. Along with my introduction, I have a few questions for you BP frequenters.

About me:

Second year into film school, personal finance began to present itself as the missing component to my college education. After taking an introductory course, I found general finance to be far more interesting than my t-shirt selling classmates & declared finance as my minor. Upon completing my degree, I took an investing course that changed everything. Led by a professor who brought personality to finance, it was no surprise to hear that he worshipped real estate (& stock options, but that's for another forum) and I caught the contagion.

Since graduating, I've decided to continue my education on Youtube, reading various self help books (Think & Grow Rich, Rich Dad Poor Dad, etc.) and finally finding BP to complete. Since then, I've completed the UBG and culminated (finally) to a book rooted in practicality, Frank Gallinelli's What Every Real Estate Investor Needs to Know About Cashflow, and with my new findings I'll transition to questions.

Question:

With Gallinelli's book, I've decided to dive in on Redfin, Loopnet, etc. and try my hand at some calculations. Using Gallinelli's tools to gauge my local market for the norms and engrain those unfamiliar metrics into my investing repertoire, I feel my analysis' are incomplete.

As I am unfamiliar with the norms on BP, where does one suggest I post deals that I've analyzed for others to weigh in on? Is it okay to provide a listing straight from one of these websites with my analysis attached?

As a new investor saving up to make my first deal, I feel these exercises can be extremely useful for myself and those like me that are working to define our preferred niche. I'm simply looking for the right place and format to best fit BP and it's members.

Thank you for reading & I'm happy to hear your thoughts!
