Hey everyone I'm fairly new to the Birmingham area ( just over a year since moving here from Georgia). I've been in the hot rod and restoration industry for 15-16 years and have been looking into real estate for the past 3-4 years. I'm studying the pre-license course now and plan on taking the test march/April. I have done a fair amount of rehabbing over my lifetime and am very resourceful when it comes to building things, making things work/look better etc so fixing houses is an easy transition for me technically speaking. Once I figure the money part out ( how to fund my deals) I know this will be an exciting change for me.

It would be great to meet people in the area who have any involvement in real estate be it other agents, lenders, investors or whatever. My circle up to this point in life has been based around cars, plus since I've only lived here a year I still haven't met too many people.

My question is, are there any meet up groups here in Birmingham or other networking get togethers I can look into? Thanks in advance!
