Hey BP Crew! My name is Michael and I am a web developer and IT manager currently in St. Louis. I have flirted with getting into real estate a few times in the past, but always bugged out. All that changed when I lost my job back in early October. Because my brilliant, beautiful wife had done a great job of getting our financial house in order, I didn’t have to rush to find a new job. In fact, I did whatever I wanted for most of October and November, finally getting back to work in early December.

You know what? I like doing whatever I want to do, when I want to do it. I had always known I was going to love retirement, waking up when I wanted to, working on the projects I want to work on, but I did not realize it was going to be as amazing as those two months were. Now I am all in on the financial independence pathway.

There are a ton of derelict properties around me, and I am trying to figure out which one is exactly perfect to start my BRRRR journey. These are gorgeous old houses that could provide a really cool home for someone, if only there were a pipe smoking bald man to fix them up.

Feel free to reach out to me about whatever. I am happy to answer questions about website development, IT consulting, or technology in general.
