Hello BP world! Another newbie joins the fray...

Hello to all!  My name is Brad and I am a real estate newbie.   My wife and I have actually done 3 live and flips over the years which have been relatively successful.  The most recent (and definitely most successful) one in Denver we let go of last year.  Since then we have been traveling the country in a cargo van that we built out into a camper and are looking for our ideal landing spot.

Because we can't seem to decide on the perfect location, we have decided to make a move into REI while we try to figure things out. We have narrowed our potential markets down to the Central Gulf Coast of Florida (Sarasota, Englewood, Punta Gorda) or San Antonio, TX. Our plan is to start with a house hack of either a 2-4 plex or a SFH with a mother-in-law setup and to BRRRR until we have a decent cash flow that can supplement our nomadic lifestyle.

This forum has been an incredible help since we found it a couple of weeks ago.  We have learned so much and been so inspired through reading everyone's posts and binging on the BP podcasts.

Welcome To BP!  Congrats on your success!  Sarasota is beautiful!  You should also check out Madeira and Indian Rocks Beaches.  Very small beach town feel but close to everything!  I have a boat that we AirBNB on Indian Rocks Beach,  I absolutely love the area and so do all of my guests!  Best of Luck with everything and live your dreams!
