Motivated Newbie in Newak, DE!

Hello BP community! My name is George Morales Jr., and I am a full time Mechanical Engineer looking to flip houses that will provide capital for me to purchase rental units so I can live the dream of having passive cash flow. (What a mouthful for an intro) I am currently living in Newark, DE - where i graduated from the University of Delaware in May 2018. I am originally from Barstow, CA which is in the HOT Mojave Desert. 

One day I was speaking with a great friend of mine, who is also a BP member, about how we HAVE to get out of the 9-5 rat race. During that conversation he then introduced me to the Bigger Pockets Podcasts. After listening to many episodes, doing further research, and just building a huge obsession over real estate investing, I am ready to take that huge leap into my first investment! As of now, I'm looking to invest in Newark, Wilmington, and Philadelphia, PA. 

My top two short term goals I've set for myself are 1) to buy my first house to flip before 2020, and 2) use that profit to purchase a multifamily by the spring time of 2020. A little aggressive, I know, but I'm ready to dive in and am not afraid of failure because that's when i learn the most. I'm looking forward to networking and meeting new people through BP or local meetings.
