Calling BRRR Experts in Seattle Area

Yang Zhang
Posted

To the BRRR experts in the Seattle area:

A bit of background about myself. I have invested mostly in SFR and Condos over the last few years in the Seattle/Bellevue area. Given the explosive growth in this area, these investments have done well both in terms of cash flow and ROI. My strategy is buy and hold while growing the portfolio. I'm probably pretty late to the BRRR game as I only recently started to learn about it as an investment strategy. Needless to say, it's a very attractive strategy with high upside but... also certainly higher risk for me personally given I've only done medium sized remodels, definitely not rehab of distressed properties, nor buying higher risk properties.

In the process of easing myself into this strategy, I've done a lot of reading and research in the last few months including as many books as I could get my hands on by David Greene, Bruce Turner and others, as well as perusing forums/podcasts on BP and other sites.  That said, I've always learned by doing and working with folks more experienced and skilled than myself to better myself.

I know there are folks who have been doing BRRRs for many years, so I am going to go out on a limb to see if there are experienced BRRR investors in the area who may be interested to network. Of course, I know that is a tall order to ask and I understand that there are no freebies in this world. With that being said, I am certain I can be of help to your business as well and can make this mutually beneficial long term. Please private message me if interested.

Some more specifics

- Short term, I mainly want to get started through local BRRR investments (i.e. 50 mile radius of Seattle). This includes starting with hands-on networking to build a team of PM, lender, contractor, agent, whole sellers etc.

- Long term, scale this both locally and nationally (I'm sure that's the end goal for a lot of folks ;))

- Capital is not an issue as I have readily available financing option for all-cash deals

thanks!
