Hi, I'm Ariel from Surigao City, Philippines. Is anyone here from Philippines? I am new at investing in real estate and also an owner of a construction company. Where do you think I should start?

@Ariel Tradio

Welcome to BP.

Most investors in cities like the NCR, Cebu, Baguio go for condos as it's easier to buy and profit from. These condos usually target Chinese tenants that works in online casinos. The only catch is the high condo monthly fees ranging in thousands of pesos. But you can easily charge P25,000 on monthly rent per unit even for studio units.

I am looking to buy townhouses as some of them don't have high monthly HOA fees. They are easier to rent out in cities and are attractive for new families. Typical price is 5M or so for a 2 storey unit.

I have not yet invested in real estate but will be soon. Still saving for down payment. I don't want to be in debt just to start investing.
