What will be the future of rental properties
Newbie here, sorry if i am asking a stupid question... So my question is that , the bottom line is the property you own should be rented to make all this happen. I would like to know if there is a any peer reviewed studies showing the ratio of availability of houses to renters? With all new and plenty of housing projects coming up across the country what if the renter population comes down as they all start owning homes. Yes, may be college students and those who haven't started a career may rent, but with many single family home building projects and the ease at which first time home buyers can get loan, i am just wondering renters will eventually dwindle over time and the house owned by investors will stay vacant with loan payments due every month. Will that be the next crisis like 2008? Can someone address my concern with some data on # renters in US to available houses for rent and its future prospects. Thanks
