Real estate novice in Columbus, OH

Hi everyone,

My name is Erick Nelson. Originally from Columbus, OH. Currently live just outside of the capital city in Marysville. I am hoping to begin to invest back into my hometown not only to achieve financial freedom, but to also try to do some good for the city and people in it. However, to say that  I’m a newbie is an understatement. I am literally brand new to world of real estate investing. I have been reading and attending seminars, researching online, now I feel like its time to put in some work. But where do I start? I am honestly probably the worst position a person could be in to be starting out in the industry, non-the-less here we go. I am open to any advice. Thank you.
