Hello BiggerPockets,

My name is Andrea Parsley, I just relocated to the Huntsville, AL area from Northern Virginia. I've secretly been on BP for about a year now reading the forums, watching webinars, reading books and listening to the podcast. I found BP after doing a search to help me achieve financial independence. Unfortunately, I was not financial savvy when I was younger and I'm paying for my mistakes now. However, I'm trying to learn everything I can about personal finance and real estate investing. Even with all the financial stress I've had to experience, I wouldn't change a thing because it has built a passion inside me to do whatever I need to do in order to become financially independent and have the ability to retire early.

My goal is to start out doing live in flips and eventually make my way towards buying long term rental properties. My action plan is to purchase my first property within the next 6 months. I'm a newbie but I have big hopes for my investing future. I've never wanted to succeed at something as much as I want to succeed in real estate investing. So I'm excited to learn as much as I can and to be an active member of the community!
