Entering Real Estate. Looking for Advice

Hello, my name is Kyle. I came to Bigger Pockets because I have always found real estate and the markets concerning it to be fascinating. As I'm entering this career I'm interested in what others are doing.

I come from New Kent which is located in Virginia. If you've never heard of it don't fret because it's a very small rural county in Virginia. It might be more appropriate to say Richmond as it's where I intend to work.

My background in real estate at this time is at the level of none. I'm thirty years old. I spent much of my early years as an Emergency Medical Technician and in the US Air Force. It wasn't until 2015 that I went back to college and as of last month I can call myself a graduate of Regent University. I have a B.A. in History and American Government. So consider me a newbie in the subject but looking for mentors.

My dream is to work my way up to being a flipper and owning rental properties. I decided my journey was best started as an agent however so right now I am waiting for a real estate class/test to begin.

I look forward to meeting and learning from all of you soon!
