Hi everyone,

My name is Braden and I am a newbie real estate investor in the Charlotte, NC metro area. I found BiggerPockets in 2018 and have been listening to the podcast, attending webinars, and reading multiple BiggerPockets books since then. I have found a new passion for real estate investing and truly believe it will give me the power to reach financial freedom. I am just getting started in single and multi-family rental property investing and actively looking for my first deal.

I currently work full time in the corporate IT field and apart from my standard 401(k) investments, I have been investing in the stock market (day trading/swing trading) for the past 3 years. I have done alright, but I am looking for more stable investments and tangible assets. Hence, my venture into real estate.

My goals are to use rental property investing to supplement my retirement savings, generate stable cash flow and within 10 years, be able to replace my W-2 income and go into real estate investing full time.

Other than investing, my hobbies are anything outdoors: mountain biking, kayaking, fishing, hiking and spending time with my wife and our spoiled dog, Gunner.

I look forward to becoming an active member of BiggerPockets, continuing to learn and grow, and share my experiences with the community!
