Looking for First Deal: Austin, Texas

Hello BP Community, 

I am looking to hop into the real estate industry by house hacking my first deal (more on that later), but first a little about myself. I'm 24, graduated in 2017 and moved to Austin later in the year to start an account manager role with Facebook. I am married to my beautiful wife Tabitha and we are about to welcome our first son into the world this December. We plan on making Austin a long-term home and are looking to make real estate part of our long-term investment strategy. I have been listening to the BP podcast for the past year and now am ready to make that first move.

Here is what I can give to the the community:

-Part of my role at Facebook is to educate my clients on the best practices on the platform, so if you are looking to increase your leads via digital marketing whether your a flipper, contractor, or wholesaler, I'm willing to chat over coffee on how to get started and make sure you are getting the most out across all of Facebook (Instagram, FB, Messenger). 

Here is what I'm looking for: 

-I plan on investing in more long term rentals and build a portfolio of Multi-Families. As mentioned, I am looking to house hack my first deal with a duplex/triplex/quadplex within the Austin area. Would love to have breakfast (on me) with someone around any of the topics above.

@Hunter Durham welcome to BP! I'm actually moving down there soon and am rehabbing a 2 unit in east Austin right now.

Definitely interested in learning more about the FB platform and always like to talk househacking. I actually wrote and ebook on househacking and think it's the best strategy to get started!
