Hi everyone my name is Paul and yes we do live in Paradise { it may not be everybody's idea of paradise, we get about 300 inches of snow a year} I am somewhat new to real estate. My wife and I rented out our family home when we moved 300 miles north into Michigan's Upper Peninsula about 5 years ago , a place we call Gods country. Well we only lasted 8 months as landlords when tenets broke the lease. We ended up selling that home that was free and clear on the advice of our CPA since we had been in it for 20 years and could sell tax free. We currently have 2 vacation rentals on a river that will be ready for snowmobile season and a homestead on the Bay that has a two tenets in the mother in law suite. I am a Paramedic FF and my wife is a stay at home mom with our 4 children. Our goals in real estate are to continue to obtain rental properties, currently looking at some duplexes in Sault Sainte Marie which is about 60 miles from us. We would like to obtain 1 to 2 properties a year using the brrrr strategy that I learned on BP. I stumbled upon BP through You Tube about 3 months ago and have been hooked ever since. { I do enjoy the ribbing between Josh and Brandon} Not sure if there are many BP folks way up here but it would sure be great to meet some like minded Rich Dad Poor Dad fans. Looking forward to meeting fellow investors.
