New to BP and the Houston Area!

Hello Everyone!

My name is Jeff and I am a total Newbie when it comes to posting on BP. I have followed it, read the forums, listened to to podcasts but its finally time for me to get my own foot in the door. So here I am!

Im a Professional Rugby Player from Canada but I am looking to transition into the investment world. There is more info on my profile about myself, my past and my hobbies so I wont repeat too much.

I am heading to Houston where my brother and his wife live (I am a duel citizen) and plan on starting my investment pathway there. Because I am new to the scene, the area, and a lot of the rules of investment in the USA, as well as Texas itself I was hoping to meet as many people as possible and start to better understand the market.

There are many things that I am wanting to learn and find out more about and feel that this is the best place to come to meet some people and start out my journey.

I realise that being born in Canada and moving from the UK (again more in my profile) may make things difficult for me for a number of reasons but I am hoping that BP can shed some light on things I need to consider when investing in Texas.

Anyways, ill leave it at that for now. I just wanted to introduce myself and say hello to everyone. Thanks for taking the time to read and learn a bit about a new member! I would love to connect with as many of you as possible via BP or in the real world!

Thanks a bunch,

Jeff Hassler
