Hello everyone I have been on bigger pockets for a while but I don't think I have ever posted anything yet. I guess I will start by telling a little bit about my story. I live in Williston ND and I'm married with two children. About 5 years ago when we had our first child I knew I had to change something. I had recently bought a house and then financed everything I could from a house to car to clothing wedding ring two vehicles and who could forget student loans. I woke up one day and decided to look at my finances and realized I needed to make 7k per month just to break even. I started the Dave Ramsey program and and cleared 150K in debt in a few years. it was at this time that I got into bigger pockets. I have listen to every podcast at least twice. I sold the first house I bought and moved to a duplex where I am currently living and I close on a 2bed 1bath house on Friday that I will rehab this month. this is the beginning of my Realestate journey and now I can honestly say that I am a Realestate investor! I am not one to post much but I am trying to change that so I thought I would tell my story. I have taken a lot of advice from reading other threads and just want to thank the community for the help!
