Hi Bigger Pockets Nation!

My name is Adam Schmitt and I'm from the Indianapolis, IN area, Avon to be specific.  I moved here about a year ago along with my then Fiance, Kayla.  Kayla and I were married in January of this year and excited to start our future together.  

I work full time in the agriculture industry and Kayla is currently finishing up nursing school.  I have been interested in buy and hold properties for some time now, but have been reluctant due to the feeling of not being in a stable location.  Through listening to many individuals on the Pod casts, I realize investing in Real Estate doesn't mean you have to live beside the property forever.  

My goals in real estate are to create long term wealth and build an income strong enough to replace my current full time job.  Short term, I am interested in single and multi family properties.  Longer term, I would like to get into the commercial property scene as well.    

I'm excited to get started on our investment path as we plan to close on two single family properties at end of July.
