New To the Real Estate Scene in Orlando

I'm a 27-year old working as a solid waste consultant here in East Orlando. I'm in the process of breaking my lease and moving into a recently purchased SF home. My landlord is extremely petty and won't fix any repairs, so it finally pushed me over the edge into home ownership. Although, I have to thank him, because I see the potential of real estate investment being my knight-in-shining-armor bringing me to my goal of Financial Independence in the next five years.
