Hello everyone!

I am new to this site! I welcome all comments and suggestions you have. I want to be successful.

Real Estate Experience
My experience is laying low watching and learning. My husband and I have been plugging numbers into a spreadsheet for some time and feel we have the right tools to be successful...and with this site and networking capabilities I have no doubts!

Real Estate Goals
To live as long as I want and to never want as long as I live!

Seriously, my goal is to have financial freedom, get my children involved in the business so that they can achieve the same freedoms, and give back!

Oh,and one more goal...buy my 2.5M condo in Mission Beach San Diego where we will retire at an early age! That's not too aggressive right?

Currently Seeking
A Mentor! Please! We would love to partner on the first few deals to get our feet wet.

We have been heavily researching multi-family fourplex units enough to know this is our focus and where we should begin!

I am so excited! This site is amazing!

Cary, welcome to BiggerPockets. I have not invested in Kansas City MO. only because i do not have adequate support on the ground there. It is in my opinion an excellent area for a buy and hold investor. Section 8 rents are good in relation to the market prices, values are fairly stable, population is increasing and there is a strong rental market with good public transportation. Please research these facts for yourself. Fedex among others provide a strong employment base. If i had a good good rehab crew there i would look for a very inexpensive 3 bedroom 1 bath home located on or near a bus line and start there. Good luck, i believe your are in one of the best markets for buy and hold opportunities in the country.
sincerly:
Michael
