Falconer in CA planning for out-of-state rentals

Hello everyone,

I'm starting out from Santa Barbara, CA, though I'm likely to move down to Los Angeles proper (bad news for cashflow investing!) Right now, I'm hustling multiple jobs to build capital while I binge research and information. I currently read a book plus half a dozen podcast episodes a week... which means it's time to spend more time talking to real investors and seeing real deals.

As you can see by the icon, I'm a falconer; I train wild hawks. Wildlife and conservation work is my real passion, so my goal is semi-passive cashflow to support that. I'm interested in B-class suburbs of Cleveland, OH -- I'll post more details over on the Starting Out forum and link it here.

If anyone's in my area, whether a pro or a newbie, I would love to talk over coffee. If you're not in my area, but wouldn't mind chatting... I'd love to hear your story!

Looking forward to being part of the community here!
