Newbie Located in New York City

Hello Everyone, My name is Aaron Johnson and I live in New York City.  I am looking to get into real estate investing. My current occupation is Community Associate for the New York Department of Education. I am looking to gain much knowledge from bigger pockets and connect with some really great people on here.  Also any local Rei groups recommended i should check out.  Thank You in advance community.

Here you will have everything you can think of books, webinars, podcasts, and the forums to help you out. I say you drown yourself in this stuff and learn as much as you can. @Miguel Dormany Thank you for the tips, the past couple of days i have been listening to many of the podcast episodes and also reading up on some of the downloads.  thanks
