Newbie Investor in Chicago Western Suburbs - Intro

Hi Everyone!  I'm relatively new to the BP community but have been listening to the podcasts for a while.  I've been interested in investing in residential single family and small multi-unit buy and hold properties for a few years but a move postponed my ability to jump in.  Now that we're settled in our new home, I'm looking to find my first property in the next 6-9 months.

I'm always looking to meet new people and continue to grow a real estate network.  Especially interested in connecting with anyone in the Chicago Western Suburbs who is active in local real estate clubs/meet-ups.  Looking forward to starting the investment journey!
