Real Estate Entrepreneur in Northwest Arkansas (Ozarks)
Salutations all, I have read a few introductions to clarify what I need to put here. I am still not sure if this is too much information, or irrelevant so I will be breaking everything into paragraphs.
I have been here about a year, I have been awful about introductions, commenting and sometimes lurking. I have spent most my time devouring audiobooks and podcasts for commute and at the job. By the time of my first deal my banker, and real estate agent was fairly impressed with my knowledge of the process. Now however, I have started to hit a plateau. My hunger and motivation outstrips my knowledge and funds on where to go next. I have demanded of myself to get one deal or partnership by the end of this year.
My reason why is strong. I am currently 34 years old as of this post. I have had 5 heart surgeries, I have degenerative arthritis, I am on the autism spectrum though I am high functioning, and had to deal with a chronic depression for about as long as I can remember. All that said I am not a victim of circumstance. I crave the freedom to live my life, and not to inevitably be a burden on society. Ben Leybovich's story was like lightning for me. I count him as a personal hero and I am trying to more or less emulate his strategy.
I am looking to become more active in my local area. I have wanted to be seen as a professional, and someone who follows through with what they say they will do. My schedule is finally set, my commitments are organized and I am ready to start this with all I can muster. The most valuable asset right now is time. I have Tuesday through Thursday off leaving me time to conduct business in person. So far of my strong computer skills have made me more analysis driven. I have lived in Northwest Arkansas for over 7 years now. The area has phenomenal growth, both economically and commercially.
That is all I can think of for now. Apology if this is too long winded.
