Newbie Investor in Memphis, TN!!

Hi Everyone,

My name is Jeron Walker and I am a local resident of Memphis, TN. I have been studying and soaking up knowledge from Biggerpockets for the past 2 years and finally beginning my journey as a wholesaler. I have lived in Memphis most of my life and I am currently in my last semester at the University of Memphis. I am very familiar with the Whitehaven, East Memphis, Raleigh, Frasier, Millington, and South Memphis areas either by living or attending school there.

I am currently working on direct mail and social media marketing for my wholesaling deals and would appreciate any advice, encouragement, or experience in this field. Also I am interested in working/helping out with anyone who needs "Boots on the ground" or anything done for multi-family or Single family rentals in the Memphis area since currently I have more time then capital and my goal is to secure my first property (2-4 plex) via an FHA loan by this summer. Any experience with this or my current market is welcome and would help tremendously!!
