Hola! I am Dominique, new to RE investing, but motivated and ready to get started. I am looking to connect with other investors in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area. I'd like to start investing close to home, at the moment my time is limited because I am working full time and have two littles! I hope to start investing full time in 2018 and eventually i'd like to invest all over Texas and in Louisiana as well.  I have no experience and am currently scouring lists for my first deal. ANY advice for someone who is green is helpful.

My thought is to start with pre-foreclosure properties, but again, any advice is helpful. Thanks!

I'm an investor/ realtor in Louisiana and I love talking shop with people... always good stuff to be earned by discussing ideas. My personal investments are primarily multifamily but i started out in single family homes. Best piece of advice i can offer is READ or listen to a whole buncha books (both before you start and forevermore once you do)... doing so you can focus on topics your interested in, find new topics you wanna know more about and learn from others mistakes and accelerate your progress much like a mentor but the crowd sourced reviews let you know how good the are and the +/- of their books and ideas... Which is great most people who read never implement so don't think self education won't give you an advantage... there is allot of good material out there.
