Ready to start investing

Hello everyone,

My name is Nick Hamblen. I am 38 years old and live in White Lake, Michigan. Proud husband and father of 2 boys. (19 and 3) I work as a Project Manager for an industrial contractor. I am very much a newbie as an investor, but I have done numerous odds and end jobs around my house. I have worked in the construction industry for 19 years as a union Millwright.

My wife and I have been talking about starting a real estate portfollio for years and are excited to work at making it a reality. We are very interested in flipping and also owning rental property. Currently, I am just trying to learn as much as I can about the business so I can be as prepared as possible, when we find our first property.

I am so excited to find Bigger Pockets,  typically commute an hour and a half to work, I listen to tons of podcasts and recently came across Bigger Pockets and have been listening nonstop, I am also very pumped to start utilizing the website as well. 

I am honored to join such a wonderful group, I look foward to meeting new friends, and learning from some of the best in the business.
