Blue Collar man trying to kick the daily grind

Hi everyone! I've been following BP for about 6 months now and finally decided to join. I'm a machine repairman for a steel factory in Detroit. I commute 165 miles round trip. Been doing it since i graduated high school(20 years). I live in the thumb of Michigan and absolutely love the freedoms that country living brings. I own 32 acres of farm land that i rent and 2 SFR and closing on one in a couple weeks. I hope to be retired by 50. I've got 12 years. I plan on buying 2 houses a year every year or more if i can afford it. I'm new to the REI world but have been reading everything i can get my hands on. I'm basically tired of working for the man and want more control of my future. My wife is an accountant and has recently taken the class to get her realtor license. I think the two of us have all bases covered. I'm the muscle and she's the brains. I hope she don't read this.LOL
I look forward to learning everything i possibly can and networking with other investors in Michigan.
Thanks,
David Gage
