Hello! This is my first ever BiggerPockets post and I'm SO excited to begin my journey in real estate investing. GOALS: create a financial free life through real estate investing. I want to buy and hold rental properties and try my hand at fix and flips. WHY: I've always envisioned myself as having abundance that not only serves me but serves a bigger purpose. I want to take care of my family and give to many causes worldwide. ABOUT ME: my name is Justin and I live outside of Rochester NY (home of the garbage plate lol), I'm 23 years old and I'm looking to get into the the game young! I've become incredibly passionate about REI and I'm looking forward to the opportunities ahead. I'm a musician and have been performing all my life. I sing and play guitar, drums and piano, music was once my "dream" but it became more "work" for me and I fell out of love with it but I still play out here and there for fun! I'm currently serving at a restaurant and living at home to save up some cash to invest. I'm also about to take my real estate license course which I'm excited about! Okay, so the real reason I joined biggerpockets was to gain as much knowledge as possible and network as much as I can. I started listening to the podcast a few months ago when I was interested in flipping houses and becoming financially free through properties. So I stated reading as many books as possible and getting my mindset right, which I find is the most important thing to be successful! I'm ready to dive into this amazing culture and learn as much as possible, it is my duty and responsibility to be wealthy and successful! Keep writing down your goals. Tell people your goals. Do not listen to other people when they think you are crazy. Richard Branson said to " always be scared of your goals." I write down my goals every day. I want to have 35 units by 2018.
