Hi, my name is Lauren, I’m 35 and located in New Orleans, Louisiana. I’m an architectural designer with knowledge in construction and construction management. I've been on BP for a couple of years, but only active within this last year.

I purchased a bank owned property last year as an owner occupied flip. Essentially, it was my first investment and I'm looking to do more. I'm interested in information on finding and funding deals in a tight market, as well as methods and strategies for scaling and building my portfolio.

Like most, I'm extremely interested in funding - hard money, private lenders, crowdfunding and the differences between them all vs conventional lending. I want to learn how these funding sources work and what are best practices for each. What are typical terms for these resources, if any. How to weed out bogus deals and people, what to look for and what questions to ask, etc.

I'm looking to cultivate relationships with individuals serious about real estate; persons who work hard and are dedicated, knowledgeable and trustworthy.

I'm currently working on acquiring investment properties.
