New to Bigger Pockets from Colorado
Hi all! My name is Matt Pastore. I'm new to BiggerPockets. I'm a tech consultant who invests in buy and hold real estate part time in the Front Range of Colorado (Denver, Colorado Springs). I bought my first property in 2009 and own several rental properties in the Colorado Springs area. I have been a landlord since 2013 and am happy to share my experiences with anyone who would like to know more. I'm originally from New York, but was stationed at Fort Carson, Colorado during a six year stint with the Army. I fell in love with Colorado and met my wife out there (who is a licensed Real Estate Agent). I moved back to NY in 2014 to get an MBA, but I'm happy to report that I'll be moving back to Colorado this September. @Matthew Pastore, I lived here years ago and just transplanted back after living on the east coast. I came back last fall and it's better than I remember. Sounds like you are well on your way and BP is a great resource, no matter where you are at in your investing, welcome!
