Beginning of a long journey! Indianapolis Investor Introduction
Greetings all,
I'd like to introduce myself to Bigger Pockets! After watching tons of podcast, researching many investors across the globe, and even getting local investors advice, all answers lead back to Bigger Pockets as a premier studying tool for novice to even the most polished investors.
I'll never forget the moment I opened my eyes and realized how crucial real estate was in order to obtain financial freedom and wealth. Ever since this eye catching moment, I've been a dedicated student of the topic and I don't plan on ever looking back.
For those of you who were curious, I'm a student at Indiana University spending my summer in Indianapolis working as an intern for Washington Prime Group, a spin off of Simon properties that specializes in commercial real estate. During this time I've been looking to expand my knowledge and experience in real estate as much as possible. I plan to obtain my real estate license by the end of this year, In addition to that, I've also sacrificed my free time by spending countless hours daily studying the profitable side of real estate which happens to be the investor side.
My current goals: Obtain real estate license by January 2018, Wholesale an Indianapolis class C property by this time next year, and obtain a buy and hold multi family investment property by Fall of 2018 near my campus.
I'm looking forward to learning from you all, don't hesitate to reach out to me if you have any ideas on how we could help each other! I'm willing to help everyone to the best of my ability, and I truly believe there is enough opportunity in this industry that we can all take advantage of and win.
I'm open to all and any advice you may have, whether its a REI club, book suggestion, or a podcast/meet up. I'm eager to know, fill me in on what has made the most impact on your investing career thus far.
Thanks!
