Hi All, my name is Claudia and I'm currently in the Greater Houston Area. I'm super excited to join the BP community and I read somewhere that I should be specific as to why, so here goes it.

My main three areas of interest right now and why I joined BP:

1- Active Learning. I've been listening and reading and learning as much as I can from BP podcasts, and other areas and I'm at the point now where I want to get my feet wet and learn from someone so hoping to find connections through BP.

2- Renting, Tenants. I have a single-family with quite a bit of equity where I think I'm actually losing money by living in it (if that makes sense? am I crazy?) and I'm getting ready to rent it. So I'm trying to learn everything about liability, renting, etc.

3- Buy and Hold. I previously tried buying and holding in Florida and that was a disaster but I'm willing to give it another go!

4- Investing. I am going to have access to funds from a trust in the next 9 months or so, so I'm learning about investing in real estate because, why not?

I am very grateful for the BP site - don't know where I would go without it!

Don't be shy and say hi! See you around in the forums!

Claudia

@Claudia R. Welcome to the BP community. There is a ton of great information and resources shared within the community.

Due to your interest in buy and hold investing, you might want to check out the section of the site on landlording:
