Hi,

My name is Michelle LaRue and I am re-igniting my passion for real estate. I have been interested since Carlton Sheets hit the streets when I was 12 years old (my mom never did buy it for me). I have one low income property in Chattanooga, TN, not the greatest deal but I have learned a lot. I am interested in owning more single and multiple family homes. I also want to invest in apartment complexes in the future. I want to provide a steady income for myself, create jobs, and be able to contribute/invest in a nursing/assisted living complex. I currently work for myself as a surgical assistant. I love my job, I love surgery, and I have a lot of flexibility. But...I love real estate as much as I love surgery so I figured now is the time to start my RE education. I want to learn more about tax lien/deed sales, single and multiple family rentals to start this journey. All advice is welcome.

I found this site by accident and I am so glad I did. I had a friend recently take a course ($1500) and I figured I should be able to educate myself quite a bit for free. I set out searching the internet and reading in my free time. I stumbled upon a post form bigger pockets and found the information incredibly informative. Now, here i am . I am almost finished with the beginners course offered here. I listen to podcasts during every drive (can be quite a lot of time in the car in Atlanta!). I love this site!

Michelle
