Newbie Intro: Eric and Wendy Anderson from Visalia California
We are just getting started in real estate. We live in Visalia California. Eric retired from the Air Force in 2010 and now provides private music lessons and plays drums with local bands. Wendy’s been working in debt collections for the last 13 years… but she is not the one who makes the phone calls.
Our big goal is to break our dependence on corporate America. Candidly, we want our time to be ours instead of the company’s.
We will build a portfolio of buy-and-hold properties that will both cash flow well enough to get us out of the rat race, and appreciate over time.
We will start our journey by house hacking a four-plex in Visalia that will enable us to put more of Eric’s retirement income towards real estate activities.
We stumbled upon BP while learning about passive income. We signed up a couple of years ago, but have recently committed ourselves to learning from BP as we craft our plan for reaching our short-term and long-term goals.
We are looking forward to this new and different journey, and sharing our experiences with like minded peeps in the BP community!
