Hello from NYC looking to break into rentals in PA

Hey all,

Just to give a back ground, I'm 34 years old in retail investment industry.    I bought my first property when I was 26 here in New York a small coop in a good location.  Sold it this year with 100k profit!

But that luck in a sense the area did extremely well due to foreign buyers in my area and I bought the property in 2010 which was close to bottom of the housing market.

I've taken great interest in the BRRR method, but I cannot do it here, as 3 bedroom houses are a million a piece.

I'm looking into PA Bloomsburg area but must do some research to see where the hot markets are.  Would speaking to an agent in that area be a start?  I would like to go for 100k and under homes as my liquid cash is only about 200k.

Anyway, nice to meet you folks, if anyone is in PA would love to pick your brai

@Dave Lee I'm actually a short drive from Bloomsburg. I live in Danville, which is another equally great opportunity for rentals. I'm currently doing the BRRR method with my personal residence. I'm always on the look out for properties that can increase equity. I also know a great Realtor in Bloomsburg, who could offer you some insight into the market. Best of luck.
