Hi BiggerPockets,

My wife and I are very excited to join the BiggerPockets community. My name is Frank Edwards and my wife's is Robin Edwards. We have been unashamedly addicted to the BP podcasts this past year, and recent avid surveyors of the BP forums over the past several weeks. We enjoyed a bottle of wine last night while studying Brandon's webinar on deal analysis (side note: great work last night, Brandon!)... which resulted in us immediately signing up for BP's annual PRO membership. ("WE'RE ALL IN!")

We've been living together (renting) in Houston for over 8 years - and we're ready to make our first REI.

Here's some background on me, Frank Edwards: I'm originally from Atlanta, GA, but made my way to Texas as fast as I could after college (GA Tech - Go Jackets). I've been in CRE for 7+ years, primarily in Property Management. Post undergrad, I started my career in Atlanta managing grocery-anchored shopping centers with a publicly-traded REIT, then transitioned to a global CRE firm in Houston to manage Class-A industrial properties. Today, I manage office buildouts, remodels, expansion, etc. in downtown Houston for a global CRE firm as a Project Manager.

Here's some background on my wife, Robin Edwards. My wife is a native Texan, born and raised in Houston, and went to LSU in Baton Rouge, LA (Geaux Tigers). Simply put, she's a rockstar. She works on the U.S. marketing team for one of the Big 4 tax/audit/advisory firms. Her sweet spot is digital marketing, nurture campaigns, lead generation, and marketing tactic execution. She's going to be the powerhouse behind my business strategy some day (soon)...

With that said, we're eager to house-hack a multifamily property in the Houston area (just for starters, and then we want to cast our net wider to other markets). We're particularly targeting a solid investment rental property which has dual-functionality to be our primary residence.

We're excited to start the conversation, and hope to connect with some good folks who are willing to be a part of our journey... or at least help us get off the ground! Don't be shy to reach out. We're good peeps.

Cheers,

Frank & Robin Edwards

Hi @Robin Edwards,

Welcome, I think the only real important question is what kind of wine you were enjoying. After I read that all I saw was "blah...blah...blah"

:)

Welcome to BP!
