New Real Estate Investor - San Antonio, Texas

Hello all,

Thank you for having me as part of your unique community. I have been a member for a few months, but only now decided to introduce myself as I wasn't sure this is a path I would continue. I am educating myself on the rehabbing and flipping side of RE investing, and bigger pockets has been invaluable with all of its material; the community solidifies it as my go-to source.

I am looking for any real estate agents that may be interested in working with a new, but very motivated investor. I am also looking for hard money lenders and contractors. I'll be networking on my own outside of BP, but if I can build a mutually beneficial with someone via BP then it'll be great as we'll be leveraging the site to its fullest. Thanks again!

V/R

Hey Leo,

You might want to get into a meetup or one of the larger REIAs in town. You can meet some people in the business and get to know a little more about what real estate is all about. Take some people to lunch and find out what they do. Learn a little here, a little there. If you take one new person to lunch every week for a year, it will cost you an extra $500.00, but just think you will have about 50 new friends who can help you when you have a question or problem. You can also see what others are doing.
