Just finished my first fix and flip and am getting ready to put it on the market in April 2017. We (my partner/boyfriend and I) talk about this first home as our 'tester' home - the one that we can learn from and see if this is something we want to pursue. The answer is a resounding 'yes'! The process was hard, fun, challenging, exhausting, and I can't wait to do it again.

Now we are going to take the next 6 months or so to save, educate ourselves, and network. I want to learn more about all the different ways to invest in real estate and lay out a business plan for myself. At this point we get so excited about all the different possibilities and we need to educate ourselves before jumping into the next property.

I work full time in HR for an Oil & Gas company and my boyfriend is a Commercial Diver with a background in construction. We moved to Houston from California in the Fall of 2014. We have a mutual love of scuba diving, camping, photography, and biking. I have a 2 hour round-trip commute to work and now have a new love - BP podcasts :)

Looking forward to getting out in the community and getting to know all of you in person and online!
