1st time Multi-family investing

Hello fellow BP members,

My name is Thadeus and I live in Stoughton, MA. I am relatively new to investing and, though I have done a lot of reading on real estate investing, I have yet to get my feet dirty.

Recently one Avenue was brought to my attention to begin investing and that was multifamily investing with a FHA loan. Since I would be a first-time home buyer if I thought this would be the perfect start. From what I know 3.5 % of sale price will be needed as down payment for requirement.

So, I guess I am asking for guidance or help with these steps. I'm not sure where to even start to look at these multi-family homes and the process afterwards and maintaining it once done. I thank you all in advance!!
