Hello BiggerPockets!

I'm new to the fascinating world of REI and have recently been spending my spare time watching, listening, and reading BP content! I'm working towards my first investment property, hopefully a buy-and-hold multiplex in Amarillo. I work a 9-5 career in a field unrelated to real estate. For me real estate is a way of to invest in a hands-on way where I can discover a vast new world of knowledge, add value to the community, and learn important skills along the way. I hope REI eventually becomes a means to financial freedom, travel, and a back door out of the rat race if I get tired of that.

For now, I'm open to learning in any way I can: connect and meet with fellow newbies or experienced investors/lenders/agents, shadow/help on visits/analysis/renovations, or partner and lend (with my limited capital and after due diligence) on deals. Let me know if you think we can help each other out in any way.
