Saying hello from Amarillo, TX

Just wanted to say hello from a new Comer on the site.  My name is Daniel and I'm from Amarillo, TX.  Me and my wife currently own 1 rental property atm and me and my business partner own 1 other. I'm looking to invest in quite a few more for this next year.  I was thinking about mixing a few flips along with a acquiring some more rentals. I know just enough about the business to get me in trouble but need to learn a whole lot more. I currently own a flooring retail/installation store along with a remodel business. I'm looking to invest for my family's future along with making some money in the short term. Any advice/knowledge you can throw my way would be appreciated.

Welcome to the site @Daniel Lee. I need to drop by your store and get some floor pricing and recommendations.

@Curt Riffel I moved here from Fort Worth and have found the rental market here significantly better for investors than DFW. In my opinion DFW is in overdrive right now and most of the numbers don't make sense. In Amarillo however, you can find good rentals that meet the 1.5% - 2.0% rule.
