    Hello Marlon!

I live in small thriving town in Texas that is benefiting from the spill-over real estate boom from Austin, Texas. However, I have been studying the local market and it seems that it could be heading to a bubble burst. Do you have any recommendations on how should I approach this market?

    Good morning, Adelis

I think that the first thing you do is get your finances in order so that you can take advantage of any situation. Why do you think that there will be a bubble burst in Taylor? I don't see it. Although, I don't go there every day and don't see what you see. I am a numbers type fella. I just don't see it reflected in the numbers though. Taylor seems to be a cheaper alternative than living in Austin and Round Rock. Hutto is doing very well. What is your strategy? Buy, rent and hold or are you seeking some sorta flip situation?

    Hello Aaron,

Thank you so much for replying!

I have to start by saying that I have 0 experience in the real estate business. However, as I learn about the subject, I am convinced that real estate is one of the most effective ways to build wealth; which is my current goal.

I guess I am a bit paranoid when it comes to real estate... I lived in Miami in 2006, and I was a victim of the real estate downfall. Consequently, I moved to Taylor and I have been here since then. The reason I mentioned the bubble bursting is because people are overpaying for houses that do not have an investment potential ( at least that is my assessment).

I am more inclined into buy, rent and hold;however, based on Taylor's current inventory and market, I do not know if is worth to invest in a house that is falling apart. On the other hand, I could buy and flip, but I have not developed a trustworthy team to help me do that.

Taylor is growing rapidly and I would hate to lose an opportunity to invest in this area.

As a realtor, how do you assess Taylor?

Thank you for addressing my questions!
