Looking for addition income

Hello my name is Benjamin, I'm married with a 4yr old and a 3 month old baby.  I'm currently working as a manager in a restaurant, the long hours and lack of family life has caused me to think about a different career path.  I'm would like to invest in properties but I'm unsure how to get started.  My goal is to learn as much as I can from this community and hopefully one day can provide a better life for my family.
