Hello BiggerPockets Community!

My name is Max Aviles and I currently live in Huntington Beach, California. I am currently 100% newbie at real estate investing.

I am currently work as a Software Engineer in Long Beach but am looking to expand my knowledge of real estate investing. It's funny- as soon as I was "turned on" to the idea of real estate investing; I was hooked! Everyday, I try my best to make a conscious effort to learn more and more about the different areas of real estate investing.

As an Engineer, I am constantly asked to solve problems for clients in order to make a process/function more effective. As I read more about certain types of real estate investments, I notice that there is a very big component of "solving problems" in real estate. I would love to be able to translate these general problem solving skills to what I feel is building up to be my new passion- real estate investing.

My goal at BiggerPockets would be to connect with newbies like me and learn from seasoned, experienced investors. I would love to have a seasoned investor take me under their wing and show me the strategies that made them successful. Perhaps this will come down the line as I gain additional knowledge in the subject.

My general areas of interest at the moment is wholesaling, lease options and creative financing.

I'm looking forward to learning more and more from this awesome site and its members!

Cheers,

Max

@Max Aviles

Welcome to BP. There is a location where like minded investors gather in Lake forest every month that you should check out. Go here https://www.biggerpockets.com/forums/521/topics/366199-lake-forest-california-meet-up or PM me for the details.

If you would like to chat before then and talk about investing let me know. I am in Mission Viejo and can get together at my local Starbucks. Your ALL in cost is only a cup of coffee.

I am currently flipping homes in Orange County and teach others how to do so as well. I started a wholesaling group and spend my Saturday mornings with them.

I am looking for my next purchase at the court house steps, while I am working on a few more.

Good Investing...
