New Member Getting Started from Ashburn, Virginia

Hi Everyone!

I'm a new investor from Ashburn, Virginia. I've been listening to the podcasts, reading posts and articles for the past few months soaking up knowledge. I'm convinced real estate is the best step towards reaching my financial goals and achieving financial freedom for myself and my family.

I have a strong business background, being an owner of a few retail businesses in SW Florida and Maryland and as a result am looking for opportunities to invest, network and build a team in these areas where I currently work/live in. Namely the Washington DC Metro area and surrounding suburbs and SW Florida in the Naples/Fort Myers area. My goal is to build a real estate business that creates jobs and opportunities for others while getting me closer to my achieving my financial goals.

To start out, I am currently studying to obtain my realtors license first in Virginia then I will obtain my license in Washington DC, Maryland and Florida. Thanks for your time and I look forward to meeting many of the great people in the community!

The good news is that the process for getting a license in VA is pretty easy and once that is done, getting the license in the other two jurisdictions is fairly simple- @Brandon L. is with our firm, along with a number of other investors on this site. :)
