New investor in San Antonio, looking to network

Hi,

I am a business analyst relatively new to real estate investing. I am helping my mother, a real estate attorney, invest in single family and multi family properties in San Antonio to generate passive income for her retirement.  We have a contracting team we have worked with in the past and are also interested in learning about flipping properties. I am here both to learn and to network in San Antonio.

There is a meetup tomorrow at Big Hopps at Huebner and I-10.  Not sure if I can make it tomorrow, but look it up on Meetup.com.  Not sure of the exact name but it is something like Beer and Real Estate.  @Chad Clanton may have more info.
